CONDITIONS OF BOOKING and OCCUPANCY

Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions (“the Guest”) acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as “Guest”) occupying or visiting the Apartment / Studio or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest.

  1. Charges must be paid in full by direct bank transfer or credit card one month before occupancy commences.
  2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt and confirmation.
  3. Upon arrival, all reservations attract a security deposit, payment is by cash/Eftpos ($300) or $300 pre-authorisation of credit card. Please note this process validates the presented credit card, and protects both the cardholder and merchant from increasing fraud incidents.
  4. After hours arrivals $300 pre-authorisation of a credit card is required prior to arrival.
  5. The Guest making the booking must be over 18 years old and agree to take full responsibility for the temporary rental of the property.
  6. An acceptable form of photographic identification (valid driver’s license, passport or 18+ card), must be produced to the reception on check-in.
  7. Upon arrival if you notice anything damaged or items missing in your Apartment or Studio, please report immediately to reception.
  8. The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any Guest together with all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the Apartment or Studio and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any Guest.
  9. Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager nor the Apartment or Studio owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which a Guest may sustain while on the complex.
  10. The Guest authorises the Manager to charge the credit card provided for the booking, for any loss, damage, monetary contribution for which the Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.
  11. All guest requests will be taken into account and management will endeavour to fulfil these requests however we are unable to guarantee specific Apartment / Studio numbers or levels
  12. The management will make every effort to ensure that the property is available as booked. However, the operators reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
  13. Management are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control. That is, if the property is sold or withdrawn from the rental pool; the property is altered in any way; or if the owner requires the property for their own use; or any other bona fide reason.
  14. The Apartment or Studio must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
  15. There is only one car space per Apartment - Note There are no Car spaces onsite for Studio guests. There is ample parking Either End of Hastings Street and in surrounding public car parks.
  16. Only the number of people stated on the registration may stay in the Apartment or Studio.
  17. Should you require hire items such as – cots, high-chairs or rollout beds, please contact reception before arrival so we can arrange the hire of these for you.
  18. No animals or pets are to be brought onto the complex.
  19. We enforce a strict Quiet enjoyment Policy for the comfort and security of all our Guests and excessive noise or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated at any time.
  20. The by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction of the Manager must be complied with. The Apartment or Studio must be vacated if after receiving a warning, any Guest fails to comply.
  21. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the Apartment or Studio. The manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests’ property.
  22. The Manager may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
  23. There is no refund for early departure.
  24. The Manager and the Apartment or Studio owner are not responsible for any misdescription of the Apartments, Studios or Complex.
  25. Properties throughout the Noosa are continuously being renovated, either in the same complex or in nearby properties. This is beyond our control and management cannot be held accountable for what another owner does in their property.
  26. Management take no responsibility for disturbances or inconveniences caused by any renovations inside the complex or in nearby properties.
  27. Please note that our Apartments are fully self-contained. Our Apartments and Studios also have a complimentary starter kit including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toilet paper etc. is provided on arrival. Should you require further supplies they can be purchased from reception. For larger provissions there are mini marts in the near vicinity.
  28. Linen is included for all reservations and Apartments and Studios are serviced for stays of 7 nights or more only.
  29. No smoking is permitted inside or outside Apartments and Studios. Jacaranda Noosa is a NO Smoking resort
  30. Furniture and fittings and equipment should not be moved from one Apartment or Studio to another.
  31. The Apartment or Studio is to be left in a satisfactory clean and tidy state, including all garbage wrapped and emptied into the bin bays downstairs (located along the driveway) and washing up done – dishwasher loaded and started. In the event of excessive cleaning requirements, an extra cleaning charge will be charged to the guest.
  32. Upon departure please lock your Apartment or Studio then return keys to reception. Should you be departing outside office hours advise Reception the day before, then deposit keys in the After Hour Return slot in reception door. Lost or Late keys will be subject to a charge.
  33. Check out time is 10am. The guest must vacate the property by this time unless previously agreed with by the Management.
  34. Schoolies: Jacaranda Apartments does not accept ‘Schoolies’ bookings. We do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual ‘Schoolies’ Period. In particular we do not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of guests during this period. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leavers for the entire ‘Schoolies’ period. If we find school leavers are booked to stay at Jacaranda Apartments, we reserve the right to have them removed. Please DO NOT make reservations for school leavers without prior approval from Jacaranda Apartments management. All apartments are independently owned and we have been authorized by all owners not to accept any bookings for ‘Schoolies’ week\s.

Our CANCELLATION POLICY is:

  • All cancellations will be subject to a $200 administration fee.

HIGH PEAK SEASON (EASTER, SEPTEMBER HOLIDAYS, NOOSA TRI & XMAS/NEWYEAR)

  • If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, there will be a full refund less an administration fee of $200
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund and the full amount is payable for the total period of the original booking.
  • When full tariff is paid on due date there are no cancellations, changes or refunds.
    MID SEASON

MID SEASON

  • If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, there will be a full refund less an administration fee of $200.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund and the full amount is payable for the total period of the original booking.

LOW SEASON

  • If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, there will be a full refund less an administration fee of $200.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund, and the full amount is payable for the total period of the original booking.

SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS

  • Where a booking is made less than one month prior to the planned arrival date (full balance is due at time of booking) and then cancelled, the guest is responsible for the total accommodation for the full period of their original booking.

CONFIRMED BOOKINGS

  • Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is paid.
  • A deposit of 30% for all Seasons will confirm all bookings. (x2 night stay is 50% deposit)
  • The final balance of the tariff is due 1 month before arrival.
  • The balance of the tariff for Noosa Triathlon bookings are payable by the 1st of September (there are no cancellations, changes or refunds after this date).
  • If booking is made inside one month of arrival, full balance is due on booking date.

NO SHOW GUESTS and GUEST DEPARTING EARLY

  • No show guests and early departure guests are responsible for the total accommodation for the full period of their booking

Whilst inhouse @ Jacaranda Noosa-Please ensure you have your gate codes and apartment key with you at all times. There is a $50 lockout fee payable to Jacaranda Manager per lockout
